![]() ![]() Going back and checking earlier versions: Sadly, that thread refers to files that are not on my PC, and at the end refers to the same downloadable Offline Help which still doesn't work/isn't accessible.Īgain, sorry to bother you nice people here, but I'm at a loss as to where else to check.įor 2019 disconnecting from internet Help > Help Topics gave :įile:///C:/ProgramData/Corel/Corel%20PaintShop%20Pro%202019/Languages/EN/Help/index.html I did a search through the forum, and the only entry I found similar was posted back in May 2016. If you aren't familiar with what/where I'm talking about, this is the web page I'm talking about, the last link: The Help in the program still goes to the website (FAIL), and I can't find any other kind of menu choice in the program for accessing this OFFLINE Help that I've apparently installed. Well, for what it's worth, I installed that program, but I have no idea how to access that help. Is there any offline help available? I did some looking, and although there doesn't appear to be any OFFLINE help for PSP 2019, there *does* seem to be offline help for PSP 2018. Maybe it's not fair to compare them, but the help file back in v7 was able to interlink with the program directly so that if you looked something up, the help file had working links back to the program itself to bring up the necessary thing I was looking for help on. Well, okay, but I'd much rather have a help file to search through. I've been looking through the software and found that the HELP menu has an option for a USER GUIDE as a PDF. But I have it installed on a laptop and I work out in the field A LOT where I don't have an internet connection. Yes, I know that because 'everybody' has an internet connection, all the manufacturers have gotten efficient (lazy?) and prefer to make that help available ONLINE since (supposedly) we all have access to it and it also makes it easy to only have to worry about maintaining just a single website with the help file, instead of having to update each persons computer. Anyway, is there any kind of OFFLINE help available? Ideally a CHM file? I've been a PSP fan for quite a long time, and recently I've been able to upgrade to the latest 2019 Ultimate (after years and years of using old v7 when JASC still owned it). ![]()
